On June 13, 2023, the School of International Education held a studying abroad information session for Cape Breton University (CBU) in Canada at Joint-class Classroom 19 in Yuntao Building A, east campus of Xuchang University, to deepen students’ understanding of CBU and further enhance their enthusiasm for studying abroad at partner institutions. The event was hosted by Yana Chen, a representative from CBU, and attended by all students from the Sino-Canada Human Resource Management program and relevant faculty members.

During the session, Yana Chen introduced CBU’s strengths, academic programs, and graduate employment prospects with a focus on the admission requirements for students from Xuchang University, CBU’s co-partner for the Human Resource Management program. She also provided detailed explanations about the academic arrangements and daily life of oversea students in CBU. The atmosphere peaked with a video message from CBU’s President offering encouragement to students and current CBU international students sharing their experiences and feelings.

Following the presentation, Yana Chen engaged in an interactive Q&A session with students to address their’ inquiries in depth.
