On the afternoon of October 11, 2024, the Faculty-Student Exchange Session between the students from the School of International Education and the faculties from Bellevue University (BU), USA was held at the Multi-Purpose Hall (2nd Floor, Student Center), Xuchang University. The attendees included:

Ms. Julie Verebely, Director of International Programs, Bellevue University, USA;

Mr. Rick Pennington, Logistics Program Coordinator, College of Business, Bellevue University, USA.

Student participants are:

All the 2024 graders from the Sino-US Digital Media Technology Program;

Selected 2024 graders from the Sino-Canada Human Resource Management Program;

Students participating in BU’s Exchange Student Program in spring 2024.

The session was chaired by Chen Hao, Vice Dean of the School of International Education.

During the session, the delegates from BU and students joining BU’s Exchange Student Program in spring 2024 systematically introduced BU’s academic resources, campus culture, and learning ecosystem. Then they answered all inquiries from 2024 Graders patiently during the Q&A section,  where notably, the BU delegation encouraged motivated students to pursue a degree at BU during their undergraduate studies.

This exchange session has strengthened the collaboration between the School of International Education, Xuchang University and Bellevue University. Meanwhile the freshmen have gained in-depth insights into overseas studying opportunities and BU-specific academic pathways, which help them to strategically prepare for future degree pursuits.

我院举办美国贝尔维尤大学师生见面会

2024年10月11日下午，我院与美国贝尔维尤大学师生见面会在学生中心二楼多功能报告厅举行。美国贝尔维尤大学国际处处长Julie Verebely、美国贝尔维尤大学商学院物流项目负责人Rick Pennington一行两人出席会议。2024级中美数字媒体技术专业全体学生、2024级中加人力资源管理专业部分学生和参加2024年春季交换生项目的学生参加了此次见面会，见面会由副院长陈豪主持。

会上美国贝尔维尤大学国际处处长Julie Verebely、美国贝尔维尤大学商学院物流项目负责人Rick Pennington和参加2024年春季交换生项目的学生分别介绍了贝尔维尤大学的办学条件、校园文化和学习环境等，并对2024级新生提出的问题一一进行了耐心解答，并肯定了我校新生扎实的英文功底，鼓励有志学生在本科期间走出去获取美方学位。

通过此次见面交流活动，我院与贝尔维尤大学的合作得到了进一步的巩固与推进，在校新生了解到更多有关国外留学及贝尔维尤大学的信息，让学生们为将来留学深造做好准备工作，也为项目毕业生顺利出国学习提供了支持和保障。
