On the afternoon of March 7, 2025, an accreditation panel composed of Mr. Hongtao Qiu, International Cooperation Manager of Holland College Canada, and Ms. Mary Lou, Director of Curriculum Development of Holland College Canada, visited the School of International Education to conduct the annual evaluation of the 2024 academic year operations for the Sino-Canada Joint Academic Program in Marketing.

The evaluation debriefing session was held in Conference Room B4-121, with Vice Dean Yang Zhimao presiding over the session and Ms. Zhang Xin, Coordinator of the Sino-Canada Marketing Program, delivering the annual program report. Vice Dean Chen Hao led the faculty members of the Marketing program in attending the meeting to join the in-depth discussion with the accreditation panel.

At the meeting, Vice Dean Yang Zhimao extended a formal welcome to the accreditation panel and provided a concise overview of the institution’s academic operations. Ms. Zhang Xin delivered a report addressing student enrollment profiles, faculty credentials and pedagogical engagement, curriculum arrangement, graduate employment metrics, honors and awards obtained, challenges identified, and possible strategic remediation plans.

Upon conclusion of the presentation, the accreditation panel extended formal congratulations on the program’s annual achievements and provided actionable recommendations to address identified challenges.
