On the morning of March 8, 2024, an accreditation panel composed of Jolene Chan and Mary Lou from Holland College, Canada visited the School of International Education, Xuchang University to assess the operational efficacy of the Sino-Canada Joint Academic Program in Marketing under the collaborative education framework. The quality assurance review briefing was held in Conference Room B4-121, attended by Qian Mingzhi, Party Secretary of the School of International Education, Fan Libo, Dean of the School of International Education, other members of the school’s leadership team, and the relevant faculty members.
In the briefing, Dean Fan Libo extended a warm welcome to the experts and provided an overview of the school’s educational framework. Vice President Chen Hao delivered a detailed report covering the key aspects of the program, including: Student enrollment and academic performance, faculty qualifications and teaching methodologies, curriculum design aligned with industry standards, campus facilities, internship support and graduate employment outcomes, and competitive honors.
The session highlighted the school’s commitment to maintaining rigorous academic collaboration and fostering internationalized talent development.
Following the briefing, the accreditation panel conducted a comprehensive review of the Sino-Canada Marketing cooperative education program through on-site class observations, document reviews, and facility inspections. They provided actionable recommendations to enhance the school’s future implementation of the Sino-foreign cooperative education initiatives.
